Ginger Meatballs

Ingredients:

  •  200g Ground Chicken
  • 10g of Ginger
  • A dash of Salt and Pepper
  • 1/8 of a Onion

Directions:

1) Fill a pot with plenty of water and put it on the oven on high.  Mince onion and ginger.  Ginger may also be pureed.

2) Mix together ground chicken, minced onion and garlic, and a dash of salt and pepper in a bowl.

3) After mixing, use two spoons to shape into meatballs.

4) Once water in pot has come to a boil drop in meatballs, it's very easy if you go directly from shaping with spoon to dropping them in, and let them boil for about 5~6 minutes.  When the meatballs are cooked through they will float to the top.  Scoop them out and onto a plate.

The hardest part of this recipe is preventing yourself from eating all the meatballs while you're cooking.

Chicken Meat Sauce

  • 200g Ground Chicken
  • 40g (or a 1/4 of ) Onion
  • 20g Carrot
  • 1 clove of Garlic
  • 100g (8 tbs) of Ketchup
  • 50ml (4 tbs) of Water
  • 1 tbs of Olive Oil

Directions:

1) Mince onion, carrot, and garlic.

2) Heat olive oil in a deep pan or pot.

 3) Cook garlic until fragrant.  Be sure to add garlic while pan/pot is still relatively cool, garlic will burn quickly in a hot pan.

 4) Add onion and carrot and cook through.

 5) Once veggies are cooked, add ground chicken, ketchup, and water.

 6) Give it a good stir so everything mixes together.  Then place lid and cook at mid heat for about 2 minutes.

 7) Remove lid and lower heat.  Add salt and pepper for flavoring and cook until most of the liquid has evaporated, stir occasionally.  Once sauce is at a consistency you like, you're done!
